Sony has designed a new remote control named “SRS-LSR 2000” and this device also can act as a portable speaker that consists of 13 hour battery. This feature will help you to listen the television while working anywhere in the house without blasting the television’s volume.
This new device, LSR 200 is made up of a pair of 2W stereo speakers and in the Centre, a “clear voice” unit which has been tuned for human voice frequencies. The speaker is connected to a charging base and that charging base is connected to the television. This is how it has been designed in any TV, not just those televisions sold by Sony.
The speaker is charged by the base and it can be charged from minimum to maximum level in about 3 hours. The speaker is communicated to the base and the base then communicated to the TV over 2.4 GHz wireless. This feature can be used to play audio along with the speakers of the television. According to Sony, their “dip-proof” infrared remote and the speakers altogether weighs 630 grams (1.4 pounds). A headphone jack is also available there.
They plan to launch this on February 22nd in Japan for 20,000 Yen (roughly $ 180).
