As 4G connectivity spreads across the country, rumors of its high-speed internet access are also rapidly spreading. Sometimes we have 4g but slow internet. So if you are trying to use the 4G LTE on your phone, you can find the best solutions to your problems if you have a headache.
Failure to make calls

Friends who have been telling you that you are enjoying the fast data of 4G, you cannot call or try to make long calls. But you are pretty sure that you didn’t put Airplane mode on or the phone just called Emergency calls. This is a frequent problem in smartphones.
Many people use 4G only as the “4G data” for the internet, making it very easy to use. Even the front-end phones this year have been removed and set to LTE / 3G / 2G (auto connect), but many apps can be set to LTE only. However, the lack of signal and the lack of VoLTE prevents calls from being processed.
The solution is to switch back to AutoConnect after Internet use and enjoy the Internet from a location where 4G Signal is better than LTE only as recommended by the phone.
VoLTE not working in mobile phones

Voice Over LTE (Calling 4G) allows you to make calls in a clearer voice. You can enjoy this service if you switch to 4G SIM card. But it requires two main factors. That is, whether your phone supports VoLTE and whether your area has VoLTE support. You can find it by contacting your telephone service provider.
When the phone settings are set to LTE / 3G / 2G (auto connect), you will be able to connect to 2G or 3G calls if there is no VoLTE in your area. Also, if the phone has VoLTE, you can see how it can be turned on / off in settings. You can do this by searching in VoLTE or going to Connections> Mobile networks from the Search box in Settings.
Some service providers require VoLTE to be activated by calling customer service. But some providers in the country do not even offer VoLTE connectivity to thier front-end phones like sansung Note 10. When VoLTE is activated, most phone models will display VoLTE or HD letters near the signal.
Do not recognize the signal or phone SIM

If you use a phone that is three years old or older, you may have problems with the lack of LTE capabilities, as well as the lack of signal. Therefore, it is important to keep your device up to date with the latest technology.
If the phone supports LTE on a recent phone but you do not have a 4G data connection, your SIM is 3G. Transferring from a telephone service provider to a 4G SIM can be done with some free home mail.
If the 4G SIM is not detected by the phone or the router, the device may not support the 4G band of the respective service provider. This is also the reason why SIM phones on 4G routers do not work. So when you buy accessories, you need to make sure you support 4G bands of service providers in Sri Lanka.
Data not working and 4G issues on the second SIM card

If you include a 4G SIM and the phone also supports 4G, but the data connection is not detected or the SIM is not detected, the SIM is not properly entered or the Internet settings are not installed on the phone. Removing the SIM and turning it off (Airplane mode on / off is not enough) will enable the SIM to be correctly positioned and the Internet settings restored.
If the data is no longer working, check your account balance and call customer service and send it to the Internet Data Processing Phone. Once it is installed you will be able to access the Internet.
Some Dual SIM phones do not have the 4G services for the both dual sim cards. Some phones will allow you to switch to 4G, so you can enable 4G on the second SIM without having to physically switch the SIM first. To do that, go to Settings> Connection, go to Dual SIM Management, (depending on the phone mode, step by step), change the network mode, or select the SIM to use on 4G. Also, VoLTE features are often not available on both SIMs.
Dropping the connection always

Losing contact frequently when you are calling or using data over 4G can be troublesome. That is the reason why many people are setting it up as 4G only. One of the reasons for this problem is the lack of signal distribution.
If you make calls while on the go, the call will be disconnected because the devices will be delayed for switching between the communication towers, and the signal strength will be unable to keep up with the connection. As such, it is essential to set the LTE / 3G / 2G (auto connect) from Settings> Connection when out of town. It also helps to reduce battery power by trying for 4G.
In these days, these problems are constantly on the rise, and in another year or two, 6G will spread in worldwide & we will will able to enjoy 4G connections smoothly.
